The main aim is to empower civil society in Western Balkan countries to engage in scientific processes of formulating and monitoring climate policies. This is achieved through examining the trajectory of deviation or compliance with various scenarios envisioned in the Paris Agreement, particularly regarding the target of limiting the average temperature increase to 1.5°C compared to the pre-industrial period, by the year 2100. The analyses conducted should serve various high-emission sectors of the economy, so that the chosen pathways also help the curve of climate impact mitigation.
